San Francisco—The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco Board of Directors has announced that Melinda Guzman has been re-elected by the members in the district to serve on the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Ms. Guzman was first appointed to the board of directors in 2007. Under federal regulations, independent directors must be elected to the board by members in the district. The district includes banks in Arizona, Nevada and California. Ms. Guzman was elected in 2009 and again this year.

SACRAMENTO, CA – The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce has announced that it has hired Mark Martinez as its new President/CEO effective October 22. Martinez comes to the CHCC from Stockton, CA where he was the President/CEO of the San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He replaces Julian Canete who has left the CHCC for a similar role with the CalAsian Chamber of Commerce.
