SACRAMENTO - The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, the premier organization promoting the development of Hispanic entrepreneurs and emerging Latino businesses in California, today announced it has moved its Sacramento headquarters to 1510 J Street.
The statewide organization has a network of more than 65 Hispanic chambers and business associations throughout the state, representing the interests of more than 700,000 business owners.

SACRAMENTO - Connie Perez, a partner at a leading California accounting firm and treasurer of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Board of Directors,recently received the support of the California State Senate Rules Committee to confirm her appointment to the California State Lottery Commission.
The full State Senate is scheduled to vote on Perez's appointment in March. Perez was chosen for the position by Gov. Jerry Brown.

At some point this summer, the largest population group in California will quietly shift from white to Hispanic for the first time since California became a state in 1850.
By 2020, Hispanics will represent almost 41 percent of the population, with nearly 2 million more Hispanics than whites. Five counties will have 1 million Hispanics or more, according to new projections by the California Department of Finance.
By 2030, Latinos will be by far the largest group in the workforce, with 9.6 million people ages 25 to 64, compared to 7.2 million whites and 3.1 million Asians. And by 2060, nearly half of all Californians will be Latinos.
This long-building demographic change in California will not only change the face of the state — but also change the face of its businesses.
