SACRAMENTO – The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC), the premier organization promoting the development of Hispanic entrepreneurs and emerging Latino businesses in California, has selected the Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as its Local Chamber of the Year.

“We are truly honored and excited to have been selected as the Chamber of the year,” said Marisa Loza, President of the Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “We have the pride, love, and commitment to this chamber and its members. We also have great wine, views, and invite everyone to come join us at our upcoming mixers.”

At just four years old, 130 members – and growing – the Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce took home the Chamber of the Year award at the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Annual Convention in Oakland.

“The Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is extremely honored and proud to receive the Hispanic Chamber of the Year Award,” said Gerardo Martin, Vice President of the Napa County Chamber of Commerce and Board member of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. “I know how hard everyone in the organization works for our members. Our small business men and women, they are the reason that we strive to be the best. This year we are continuing our efforts. We are bringing new and exciting programs to our members, with many more benefits on the way!”

The Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is led by volunteers who have the mission to promote economic advancement among Napa’s business community. They want to help their members succeed and grow their business. The chamber holds mixers, community events, and teaches their members how to market themselves.

“The Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is an example of what a successful chamber looks like,” said Ernie Gutierrez, chairman of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. “This chamber is led by individuals committed to supporting local Latino businesses in their community.”

The Chamber is also a supporter of the Mexican-American Vintners Association. Most recently, the Senate recognized the Mexican-American Vintners Association for their hard work and dedication.

“As the Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, we want the people of Napa to know that anything is possible,” added Loza. “If you want to become a vintner and own your own winery – you can make your dream a reality with hard work and dedication.”

As 2014 approaches, the Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce plans to grow their board of directors, increase membership, and be able to provide more programs and seminars for their members.
