California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce’s Frank Montes Awarded Outstanding Hispanic Business Advocate Award by the Latino Journal

SACRAMENTO – The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC), the premier organization promoting the development of Hispanic entrepreneurs and emerging Latino businesses in California, announced that CHCC Chairman Frank Montes was awarded the Outstanding Hispanic Business Advocate award by the Latino Journal.

Hundreds gathered in Sacramento for the Latino Journal’s Annual Leadership reception where the Latino Journal awarded Frank Montes with the Outstanding Hispanic Business Advocate Award. 

For the past 30 years, Montes has been a successful entrepreneur. Today, Montes is the owner of Inland Body and Paint in the city of Fontana and Chairman of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Board of Directors. His duties include advocating for Hispanic Chambers statewide. 

“The Journal recognizes Frank's leadership and advocacy,” said Jose Perez, CEO of the Latino Journal. “He has built an effective chamber staff team that is able to execute key objectives including public policy, working with government and private firms to open contracting opportunities with Hispanic businesses. His stewardship of the over 50 local Hispanic Chambers in California, who represent 800,000 businesses, shows his national influence over business matters. California, by far, has the largest number of Hispanic businesses as compared to any other State.” 

Montes is also actively involved in his community and belongs to the following organizations:  California Small Business Association, National Latina Business Women’s Association-Inland Empire Association, Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National Latino Peace Officers Association—San Bernardino Riverside chapter among many others. 

“I am truly honored to be recognized by the Latino Journal,” said Frank Montes.“As a business owner, I know the challenges faced in today’s business climate, which is why I look forward to continuing to work hard with the CHCC board to ensure the success of our business owners and chambers statewide.”
