Membership Profile - Antelope Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The Antelope Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1997 with the focus of promoting and assisting the Hispanic based Small Business’s reach new heights of success.

The AVHCC Leadership has played a key role to the building and expansion of the Chambers Vision for direction and implementation of resources provided within our community so, that Small Business can prosper.

The Antelope Valley is home to the Aerospace Industry which has helped put our beautiful community on the radar. The Goal of the AVHCC is to further help empower small business network and create new relationships with community consumers. The Hispanic community has now grown to more than 51% of the population within the Antelope Valley. Providing the necessary resources is vital for the success of any business. 

AVHCC’s mission is to connect with all Small Business regardless of Ethnic backgrounds and give them the tools and resources to be successful of which has made a huge and positive impact within our community. In 2010 the Antelope Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce received the Award of being “Best Hispanic Chamber- Southern California Region”. The AVHCC has also been recognized by the Local, State and Federal Levels. 

The AVHCC provides a monthly Luncheon program that brings information to local Business with a variety of information like, Local and State Legislation Issues, Education and Self Development. The AVHCC has been on the frontline with promoting Education by means of their “Excellence in Education Scholarships” Program where they award scholarships to many students within the community that will graduate from High School and move on to College or Universities.

AVHCC have now launched their new Chamber website that gives their Members the ability to advertise with infomercial capability at different levels of sponsorship. Mark Maldonado, AVHCC President, was personally able to attend the 21st Annual CHCC Legislative Conference on May 12, 2015 which allowed for information to be delivered back to community leaders.
